Rowshan Hannan
Labour Candidate for Greenwich Council in East Greenwich

Local resident Rowshan Hannan is Labour’s candidate for East Greenwich in May’s Greenwich Council elections, standing alongside Majid Rahman and Maisie Richards Cottell.
Rowshan lives in East Greenwich and her children attend a local primary school in the ward. She works in international development and has dedicated her life to eradicating poverty from the world.
Rowshan says:
‘As a parent I want to know that my community is safe, that my children can breathe clean air and that they will have equal opportunities for success. The pandemic has shown us how much inequality remains here in our local area – I believe we can do better to wipe out deprivation in all its forms in East Greenwich. As a Councillor for East Greenwich I would put the priorities of our local area first always.’
