Majid Rahman
Labour Candidate for Greenwich Council in East Greenwich

Majid Rahman is Labour’s candidate for East Greenwich in May’s Greenwich Council elections, standing alongside Rowshan Hannan and Maisie Richards Cottell.
Majid has lived in the borough for over 30 years. He works as a business engagement officer for a university and is actively involved in volunteering and fundraising in the community. Majid is passionate about high quality public realm and air quality in East Greenwich and ensuring developments in our area work for everybody.
Majid says:
‘I am a second generation immigrant and my family struggled when my steel factory worker father lost his job. Our family’s journey led us to Greenwich and I am passionate about giving back to this community.’
