A former journalist and lecturer, I’m passionate about equality and community empowerment. I’ve served as your councillor since 2014 and previously as Deputy Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich. My cabinet roles have included Health, Transport, Regeneration, Communities, and Climate Change. I led the borough’s Violence Against Women and Girls campaign, working with local women and London partners to influence the Met Police, the Mayor, and the Police and Crime Bill. Beyond the council, I’m President of the Co-op Group’s National Members’ Council.
